Update

This week in english was super crazy because we have all of this work that is do for next week.  In a sense i think that we have all of these things due and i do not know what i should really focus a lot of my time on. I really hope that i do good on all of the things that we have to do because my grade in every class really counts on it.  The best thing aou this week in english class this week was all of the work time that we had in class it really helped to make sure that i was at least staying on track with at least your (english) class.

THis Week

As you all should know winter formal was tonight and it was absolutely amazing. but this week was also really awesome. we got this really nice calender that has all of the dates that our assignments are due. In a way i feel like there are a lot of things that are due but at the same time i feel like i dont know what to do. I know we have all of these finals and what not but i am not to worried about it because if i do, then i will get to over whelmed and end up not doing anything.

Hello

Ok hello blog. Anyways i am going to talk about the week before break and what we did and the projects that we worked on. First of all i am going to play a little game with you, i want you to guess what i made without me actually telling you what i did. So my picture has something to do with earth. my quote is Tragedy is a strike of lightening that brushes through the surface of our world but burns the core of our lives.

yup you guessed i did the one with the lightening striking the world. I chose to do something that was really interesting and what i really wanted was for it to loook like that was a satalite picture. The second one was important to me because i wanted a product that would make folks think i coppied and pasted. In the end i was really happy with the produt but at the same time i rrreeeeaaaallllllyyyyyy like a lot of what i saw in the class. i would put mine up but i dont know how, its on my school account.

Essay

Wooww this essay has totally stressed me out like really. Today i was in the process of submitting it my computer was not working. In all honesty i am not sure how i did on this paper. I really want to do good because i think that i made some pretty valid points but at the same time you can never be sure what the teacher thinks. 

This Week

WOOOOWWWW this week........ Yeah i actually do not remember much of this week. But that does not mean that we did not do anything. oohhh wait my group and i ran into a little naggle, with our books; basically our book is aweful. We are having  an aweful time trying to read this book because it is so uninteresting. The sad thing is that our little question is to see the differences between african american love/ romance stories and then the difference in popularity in the books. Basically how do those play a part in each other. It is almost like this book is proving our theory to be correct because this caucasion book is so boring, just as we thought is was going to be, but at the same time it is very popular and really well known.

New Assighnments

This week went by like super fast, which is weird because whenever we do not have school on one day of the week the week normally goes by really slow. I think it was because we were so busy all week doing work in like every class. The kind of cool thing is our new project that we are going to be working on in Stephanie’s class is our first official essay. I actually am a little excited because the topic is really good and makes room for our opinion and history. Another good thing is that Stephanie actually helped us already a lot because we have been working on research for tragedy articles and what not for a week now. I am actually not really sure what i am going to be writing about just yet because my thoughts are not fully together, so I think the first thing that i am going to do is make an outline. I think I am going to break it into author of past tragedy articles and then right when I address their opinion I am going to state mine.

This Week

This week was super crazy we really looked into what we each thought said Tragedy. It was kindof weird because it seemed that we were confusing tragedy with mis fortune. Which are two different things. Tragedy is more when people do things that are so unfortunate and the person who is responsible does not even realize that what he did was wrong. Misfortune is more like a domino effect of that sucks moments. 

It was actually kind of weird to hear like what people considered to be really unfortunate and tragic because often times i associate something being tragic by looking at how many people died or like how horrible that whole situation that they went through was. 

We also talked about what makes something tragic. Like a really emotional dance, a really good song that has so much emotion rapped into it, a classical song, a film, a photograph, etc. Surprisingly a lot of people said that classical music can be really tragic. But honestly I  don’t think it is classical music that is tragic, because if you think about the music is just someone’s interpretation of whatever event that had happened so it is really more a film or picture.

My Time Writing

Hello World this is Serena updating you on how my time writing went, the one about my book All I Ask. So I am not exactly sure how that went but i know that i tried my best so... yup thats kindof all that i can do. But the thing that i do all of the ime when i am writing time writing s is i tend to go off topic a lot so the main thing that i made sure that i did was focused on staying on topic and sticking to my thesis.  In a way i kindof dont want to know what i got on it becuase i am not sure what big things are going ot do to my grade in stephanie's class.  Since i know that you guys have to comment i kindof want to know how you think you did on your essay.

All I Ask

I finally just finished reading the book that i was supposed to read which was the All I Ask i thought it was going to be super duper sexual but it was not instead it was really good and sometimes cheesy but it really liked it. I found myself like getting up in the middle of the night to read my book with a flashlight.This is honestly a good book, I enocourage everyone to read it. The next book that i am planning to read is called Unexpected Mr. Right and i am going to be comparing the two.
